Production Technician

As a Production Technician, you will have key responsibilities supporting manufacturing operations either in the manufacturing, packaging, and/or product labeling areas.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining material/supply needs to support production
- Setting up & operating equipment and processing materials & packaging kits in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Inspecting products and components to verify completeness of the final device and product information is precise and legible
- Inspecting product for quality and adherence to specifications
- Ensuring full compliance with both GMP and housekeeping standards within packaging area
- Participating in trouble-shooting and problem solving associated with packaging process
- Completing and ensuring accuracy of all process orders and associated required documentation, records, and metrics
- Preparing work centers for appropriate line clearance procedure and conducting regular cleaning in accordance with standard operating procedures
- May train others in department as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Preferred: 1 year of related experience in production or manufacturing assembly in a regulated industry
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to have flexibility in work schedule when needed
- Thorough understanding of the principles and applications of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures
- Detail oriented

Pay
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is $36,300.00 - $67,500.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
