Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Follow the work instructions.
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow all health and safety instructions regarding chemical usage.
• Remove access tape and material from lightning cable inside the blade.
• Apply zip ties to lightning cable according to work instructions to attach it to the web.
• Take out stay bolts from the ring on the root of the blade.
• Insert plugs into bushings around the root to avoid dust in the bushing.
• Two individuals place donut inside the blade utilizing sika.
• Use hand tools/scraper to even out sika applied to the edge of the donut.
• Maintain 5S standards.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to lift or carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull heavy objects and work with hands for an extended period.
• Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Knowledge of the department area.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Requires wearing of respirator.

Desired Characteristics

• High School Diploma/GED or related experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience.

Pay

Base pay for this position is $22.88‑$27.50. The company pays a geographic differential of 110 %, 120 % or 130 % of salary in certain areas.
