Production Supervisors - Night Shift
About the role
Guardian Glass is seeking Production Supervisors - Night Shift to join our Float Glass manufacturing team in Carleton, Michigan. This is an opportunity to lead high-performing teams, make a tangible impact on operations, and help shape the future of glass manufacturing. As a Production Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in fostering a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and employee development while leading one of the most advanced float glass manufacturing facilities in the industry.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate production with 7 - 13 employees in a specified area
- Promote our self-driven safety culture
- Manage labor, prioritize projects and daily operations
- Communicate effectively to meet deadlines, ensure follow up, and manage goals
- Work hands-on with production and planning teams as needed to fulfill orders in a timely manner, escalate issues, and make decisions
- Ensure quality products are produced
- Partner with contractors and cross-functional teams
- Monitor production systems and enter data, correct errors, and control key screens
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Supervisory experience
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts from 6p – 6a with a 2 on – 2 off – 3 on schedule
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience with Continuous Improvement events/activities
Pay
Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
Schedule
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts from 6p – 6a with a 2 on – 2 off – 3 on schedule. Day shift opportunities also available.
