Production Supervisor, Springboro

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing operations team, ensuring continuous operation through effective and efficient oversight of personnel and equipment. The Production Supervisor communicates with team members, management, and upper management, tracks team member performance, and guides to meet daily/weekly/monthly production goals. They ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity through up-to-date training and team member performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow of employees and delegate tasks.
• Assess work performance of team members; identify areas of performance improvement.
• Train and onboard new team members.
• Lead efforts in developing, implementing, and maintaining the TPM system.
• Meet daily/weekly/monthly objectives, aligning with business plans and goals.
• Create reports on daily progress and performance.
• Support MRO daily activities.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with leaders to resolve and manage workforce labor issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operation or Business or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Module/Pack building experience preferred.
• Solid judgment along with decision-making skills.
• Organizational skills (methodical, organized, prioritizes and manages multiple tasks).
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Excellent communication, documentation, technical, and computer skills.
• Microsoft Office Experience.
• ERP Experience (Plex System Preferred).
