About the role

The Production Supervisor I at Crane Aerospace and Electronics, located in Lynnwood, WA, manages and directs a team in metal fabrication, assembly, and testing. This is a swing shift position from 2:30PM - 10:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Review and understand daily key performance indicators to evaluate current status and plan improvements
  • Identify and address quality issues using non-conforming materials process
  • Serve as liaison to other groups to ensure products are built, assembled, and tested within parameters
  • Drive production schedule to meet customer demand
  • Make staffing decisions to build and grow the team
  • Coach and mentor employees to drive growth
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to define and modify manufacturing instructions
  • Work with supply chain to develop material replenishment system
  • Ensure equipment compliance with calibration and maintenance procedures

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • General understanding of cellular manufacturing practices
  • Intermediate skill level with MS Office
  • Effectively communicate (written and verbal) with all levels of the business and present to groups
  • Align customer demand with manufacturing capacity to develop labor planning/allocations
  • Use data to determine root causes of issues to drive focused corrective action

Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree in Operations Management or similar
  • Previous supervisory experience within an aerospace or electronics manufacturing environment preferred
  • Familiarity with web-based software preferred

Pay

$87,765 - $111,264 Annual USD
