Production Supervisor, Cathode/Anode - Nights

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises employees in the Panasonic production process
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• Interviews, hires, trains, and appraises employees
• Plans, assigns, and directs work; coordinates work activities with other supervisors
• Monitors and ensures all safety guidelines are followed
• Investigates all safety incidents, finds root causes, and initiates permanent corrective actions
• Performs 5-WHY, 8-D, fishbone, 4M analysis
• Makes precise end of shift reports, root cause analysis documents, and headcount reports
• Maintains quality product production
• Monitors defect trends and assigns corrective actions to support teams
• Monitors material loss trends and assigns corrective actions to support teams
• Monitors expense trends and applies strict control over consumables such as supplies and tools
• Manages high volume shipping and receiving areas
• Manages inventory control of all process materials
• Manages logistics processes such as shipping and receiving storage
• Understands integrated systems such as SAP, MES, Oracle
• Recommends continuous improvement activities to improve quality and reduce cost
