Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift. This position is ONSITE Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-1:30am and Friday's 3:30pm-7:30pm at our 517 Pucket Ferry Road, Greenwood SC Eaton site. There is occasional overtime required to support the team on this 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Think and act both tactically and strategically to meet production demands, solve issues and make improvements.
• Accomplish this through daily cross-functional team communication.
• Contribute to a safe, engaged, and inclusive work culture by ensuring compliance with policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment, and performing 5S duties.
• Serve as a central point of contact for management regarding production issues in one’s functional area.
• Participate in the assessment, selection, training, coaching, and development of employees and foster strong employee performance.
• Evaluate workload requirements and effectively delegate tasks accordingly to ensure proper and adequate manning to support production requirements.
• Investigate and solve quality issues and/or serve as a point of contact through which quality issues can be resolved. Ensure that employees know the importance of quality and enforces follow through.
• Work with quality control team to resolve issues and regularly review quality trends in the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1 (one) year manufacturing experience
• Minimum of 1 (one) year leadership experience
• Must be able to work Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-1:30am and Friday's 3:30pm-7:30pm, with occasional overtime.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution
• Experience working in an engineering, operations and/or manufacturing environment. (Green Belt Certification preferred)
• Experience working in assembly, fabrication, and/or shipping
• Experience working in an ETO (engineered to order) environment
• Project Management Experience

Pay

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000.00-$120,000.00 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
