Eagle Ford Operations

The liquids-rich Eagle Ford tight oil trend in south Texas represents the company’s second-most prolific unconventional resource development. ConocoPhillips was an early entrant into this play, securing a low-cost position in approximately 489,000 net acres, primarily in DeWitt, Karnes, and Live Oak counties. As of year-end 2023, we held 199,000 net unconventional leasehold and mineral acres.

The current focus is on full-field development, using customized well spacing and stacking patterns adapted through reservoir analysis. In 2025, we operated an average of seven rigs and three frac crews, drilling 251 operated wells and bringing 264 operated wells online. Net production averaged 390 MBOED during 2025.
