Responsibilities
Inventory Management – Track inventory levels, organize totes by bridge dates (FIFO), perform bullpen stock counts, and flag discrepancies.
Transportation of Goods – Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts to move goods safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
Communication – Foster open communication, collaborate with team members, and solve problems quickly and effectively.
Organization and Cleanliness – Maintain a clean, organized work environment by sweeping floors, organizing shelves, and removing empty pallets and packaging materials.
Safety – Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.
Adherence to Policies and Procedures – Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Enhanced Duties – Interact with leadership team and carry out specific tasks beyond normal duties, interpreting and following instructions with minimal supervision.
Requirements
Prior experience working in a warehouse setting is strongly desired.
Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to understand and execute instructions for daily tasks and read orders accurately.
Proactive problem-solving skills and strong attention to accuracy and detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily productivity standards.
Ability to work overtime during the work week and weekends, while complying with GALLS’ attendance policy.
Physical abilities – capable of standing and walking for extended periods, working in a non-temperature-controlled environment, and lifting up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
