Production Quality Engineer (Radars)
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate structured problem-solving activities (PPS / 8D) with cross-functional teams to address production quality issues.
- Owning defect reporting, analysis, and resolution, including root cause identification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related topics within the Production Center.
- Monitor, analyze, and report key quality performance indicators (KPIs), including Rework, First Pass Yield (FPY), and daily, weekly, and monthly scrap levels.
- Prepare and present quality performance data, trends, risks, and improvement actions to management.
- Participate in Production Center project milestones, ensuring quality requirements and deliverables are met.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects, waste, and variation in production processes.
Requirements
- Production Quality Engineering experience.
- Advanced knowledge of problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and Practical Problem Solving (PPS).
- Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies, including Control Plans, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Workplace organization, and Continuous improvement (Kaizen).
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality management system.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
