Production Personnel

We are searching for experienced Production Personnel at our Redmond, OR facility to set up and operate a variety of machines and use various hand tools to fabricate and assemble doors.

Responsibilities

• Bores holes for insertion of screws or dowels
• Glues, fits, and clamps parts and sub-assemblies together to form complete units
• Drives nails or other fasteners into joints at designated places to reinforce joints
• Sands and scrapes surfaces and joints of articles to prepare for finishing
• Installs hardware such as hinges
• Attaches appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
• Packs finished goods into correct packages and boxes
• Tracks production on schedule boards
• Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
• Available to work in all areas of production for which trained
• Lifts and carries 30-80+ lbs on a regular basis throughout the workday
• Understands how errors in production, paperwork, etc. impact the bottom line
• Works closely with other production personnel promoting a “can-do” attitude
• Works overtime as required
• Maintains a professional and respectful relationship with all employees
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
• Knowledge of all products and nomenclature
• Adaptability to changes in the work environment, competing demands, and unexpected events

Physical Demands

• May need to sit or stand as needed
• Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day
• Lifts and moves larger, heavier items appropriately
• Reaches above shoulder heights, below the waist, bends, and stretches as needed to work on machinery
• Exposure to manufacturing areas requiring use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, safety shoes, and hearing protection
• Environmental conditions may include excessive heat or cold during seasonal changes in the manufacturing area
