Production Painter - 3rd shift

About the role

Under general supervision, the Production Painter applies industrial paint finishes onto metal products through spray gun application.

Pay

$23.13 per hour, including a $2 shift differential.

Schedule

Sunday night–Friday morning, 10 PM–6 AM, with some overtime required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and shape:
  • Load, feed, and unload material through paint process.
  • Operate spray painter gun to apply industrial paint finish on material.
• Prepare and set up:
  • Set up machines and confirm specifications using drawings, blueprints, tablets, or other tools.
• Lift and position materials:
  • Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts as needed.
• Ensure quality:
  • Complete quality checks to ensure the correct thickness of paint is properly applied to material throughout the process and touch up as needed.
  • Ensure materials are properly labeled and scanned upon exiting paint line.
• Contribute to improvement:
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain and organize:
  • Keep track of material inventory.
  • Perform machine maintenance.
  • Support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.
