Production Operator* (New Ulm, MN)

About the role

The Production Operator role is available in New Ulm, MN, offering various shifts including midnight, afternoon, and day/afternoon. The starting pay ranges from $25.00 to $28.11 per hour, with additional differentials and double-time pay on Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work behaviors and look out for hazards
• Follow safe operating procedures and customer specifications to produce high-quality products
• Operate automated, production, converting, molding, assembly, and packaging equipment while meeting performance/output goals
• Maintain a positive, inclusive work environment
• Use a computer and computer controls to run equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (completed prior to start)
• Ability to work 8 to 12 consecutive hours per day
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
• Completion of a job-related readiness assessment
• Ability to lift/carry heavy materials
• Comprehend, understand, and apply written and verbal directions from standard operating procedures, safety rules, and supervisor coaching
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment in accordance with safety rules

Qualifications

Pay

The starting rate of pay for this position is $25.00 to $28.11. This targeted compensation range represents a good faith estimate and can vary based on factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Schedule

Shifts are available as follows:

• Midnight: 11 pm – 7 am fixed
• Afternoon: 3 pm – 11 pm fixed
• Day/Afternoon: 7 am – 3 pm and 3 pm - 11 pm rotating
