About the role

Knape & Vogt is seeking a Production Operator I to join their team in Grand Rapids. This position offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and hand parts into machines
• Troubleshoot using blueprints on a computer monitor
• Conduct changeovers and setups
• Perform quality functions and checks
• Follow all safety procedures and quality functions
• Perform shop order functions, packing instructions, and labeling requirements
• Inspect parts and machinery for errors

Requirements

• No previous manufacturing experience required
• Basic reading, writing, computer, and math skills
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand basic English
• Efficiently work in a high-paced environment
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs. while standing for long periods of time

Pay

• 1st Shift: $19.00/hr
• 3rd Shift: $19.00/hr + $2.00 shift premium

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm
• 3rd Shift: 11:15pm-7:15am
