Job Description
We are seeking Production Operators to join our De Pere, Wisconsin team. Operators provide support to multiple departments by assisting and/or operating paper mill equipment, including material handling equipment and tools. They are also responsible for obtaining supplies for Operators and performing general housekeeping.

Essential Functions and Primary Responsibilities
- Must follow Ahlstrom’s manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies, as applicable to the position’s areas of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper
- Aid equipment Operators in all areas of production
- Haul and hoist materials using powered industrial trucks and cranes; load and unload material from machines
- Aid with quality inspections
- Perform regular housekeeping
- Understand and apply safety standards
- Participate in safety improvements throughout the facility
Minimum Occupational Requirements
- A high regard for performing safely and an ability to work well with a team
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Ability to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and background check
- Ability to work a 12-hour, rotating shift schedule
Physical Occupational Requirements
- Perform physical work, defined as lifting up to 100 lb. with assistance
- Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Work at heights and near rapidly moving machinery
- Operate lift-truck and hoists
- Work in a hot and humid environment
