MFT is seeking a dedicated, hardworking and reliable candidate who will have the ability to complete all necessary training in order to become a competent, effective, and successful Production Operator in the Tooling Department.

Responsibilities

  • Strip and clean parts, including but not limited to acid baths and grit blasting, according to specific instructions of the client.
  • Pack and transport finished product to clients including but not limited to early morning and/or afternoon.
  • Pick up parts for service based on request(s) of the client.
  • Complete tank pump outs daily
  • Refill tanks as needed
  • Monitor condition of all equipment and recommend repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • Complete work order and related paper work thoroughly.
  • Ensure parts are processed in accordance to specifications on work orders.
  • Maintain paperwork and log books.
  • Must comply with safety committee and EHS requirements.
  • Must follow all safety procedures when working with materials on a daily basis, including but not limited to: wearing the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Understand and conform to MFT/Customer/QC standards.
  • Provide safe working environment by properly handling chemicals.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, or equivalent.
  • Must have a current driver’s license that is in good standing
  • Must be comfortable making daily deliveries
  • Must be flexible to working variable hours, including specific holidays and weekend rotations
  • Must be reliable
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 40lbs on a frequent basis
  • Must be able to pass DOT Physical and Pre-employment drug screen

Qualifications

  • One (1) or more years of experience operating a 16ft and/or 22ft box truck preferred
  • Manufacturing/Industrial experience preferred but not required

  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs on a frequent basis

Schedule

Hours are from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and alternating weekend shifts (approx. every 3rd weekend 3:30 am - 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday as well with double time on Sundays).
