About the role
Martin Marietta is currently looking for a prompt, hard-working individual to join our rock-solid team at our Murfreesboro Quarry. This position is responsible for operating a variety of equipment and helping with plant maintenance, production, and equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Operates production equipment as directed within the company guidelines and safety standards
- Uses standard operating procedures to troubleshoot malfunctions or issues
- Adjusts equipment to maximize production
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Valid US driver's license
Qualifications
- 1+ year related experience
- Production equipment operation
- Troubleshooting
- OSHA and MSHA regulations
- Time management
Skills
- Physical requirements: hand-eye coordination, vision, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, lifting up to 25 pounds, using a shovel, working from elevated platforms, passing a pre-employment physical/drug/alcohol test
