Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations
- Follow oral and written instructions
- Effectively communicate with all levels of employees
- Strong commitment to safety required
- Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience desirable
- Pass pre-employment drug test and physical
Working Conditions
- Continuous physical activity throughout the workday
- Walking, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 100 pounds
- Hearing, talking, repetitive motions, and moving objects up to 1,100 pounds with manual equipment such as hand trucks
- Ability to distinguish colors and operate a forklift
- Works inside and outside, subject to changes in temperature and other weather conditions
- Proximity to moving mechanical parts
- Potential exposure to chemicals, which is constantly monitored
- Wear protective clothing when performing specific procedures
Benefits
- Starting Salary: $26.51/hour
- Shift Premium: $0.40/hr for 2nd shift, $0.60/hr for 3rd shift
- Additional Shift Premium for weekend shifts: $0.50/hr
