Production Operator - De Pere, WI

We are holding an open interview day for Production Operators with a start date of October 12th.

Pay

• $27.80 per hour starting pay
• $3.75 per hour weekend shift differential
• $1.10 per hour weekday night shift premium
• $1,300 retention bonus within 9 months

Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts
• Work 14 days per month

• Parking: Candidates will park in the alley and enter through door #14 (reserved and public parking available)

Responsibilities

• Follow Ahlstrom’s manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures, and policies to meet safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Assist equipment Operators in all areas of production
• Haul and hoist materials using powered industrial trucks and cranes; load and unload material from machines
• Assist with quality inspections
• Perform regular housekeeping
• Understand and apply safety standards
• Participate in safety improvements throughout the facility

Requirements

• High regard for safety and ability to work well in a team
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen and background check
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule

Physical Requirements

• Perform physical work, including lifting up to 100 lb. with assistance
• Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs
• Work at heights and near rapidly moving machinery
• Operate lift-trucks and hoists
• Work in a hot and humid environment
