Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety and housekeeping requirements within a manufacturing setting.
- Operate production equipment, including troubleshooting and making necessary adjustments to ensure product and quality specifications are met.
- Record production data and other results as required.
- Apply basic maintenance skills to help service equipment.
- Take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.
- Adapt to scheduling requirements, including shift work, overtime, and working weekends where applicable.
Requirements
- Able to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
- Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
- Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
- Basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
- Proficiency in taking measurements to verify product specifications.
- Basic maintenance skills, including familiarity with common hand tools (e.g., hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife).
- Effective teamwork and communication skills with all co-workers.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
