Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety and housekeeping requirements within a manufacturing setting.
• Operate production equipment, including troubleshooting and making necessary adjustments to ensure product and quality specifications are met.
• Record production data and other results as required.
• Apply basic maintenance skills to help service equipment.
• Take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.
• Adapt to scheduling requirements, including shift work, overtime, and working weekends where applicable.

Requirements

• Able to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
• Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
• Basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
• Proficiency in taking measurements to verify product specifications.
• Basic maintenance skills, including familiarity with common hand tools (e.g., hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife).
• Effective teamwork and communication skills with all co-workers.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
