Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Efficient operation of designated production equipment as assigned.
• Start-up, operation, change over, shut down, and preventative maintenance of assigned production equipment.
• Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently following the Company Safety Policy, including the lock out/tag out process.
• Perform manual tasks such as: loading and supplying production line items, reworking product, and loading conveyors.
• Quality Assurance and testing compliance according to Company and/or designated facility standards.
• Provide general plant, production line, and facility clean up (5S).

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Production experience, preferably in a food and beverage environment.
• Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency.
• Work efficiently self-directed or in a team environment.
• Physically able to safely lift bottles and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends (depending on location).
• Ability to inspect materials visually and by sense of smell.
• PPE Required (safety shoes, hair nets, goggles, ear plugs).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions (depending on location) that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
