About the Role

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our plastic tubing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in medical catheter manufacturing and will be responsible for operating and maintaining plastic tubing production equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor plastic tubing production lines and related equipment, including material preparation and machine setup according to production specifications.
  • Complete daily production tasks on time as assigned, ensuring efficiency and product quality.
  • Inspect tubing dimensions and appearance to ensure compliance with quality standards and record production data accurately.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure stable operation.
  • Follow cleanroom protocols, maintain 6S standards, and adhere to ISO 13485 quality system requirements.
  • Be proficient in the operational skills required for the position and promptly report any abnormalities to supervisors.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
  • Perform other temporary or assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Senior high school education or above (high school diploma or equivalent required).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a production operator in a medical catheter or medical tubing manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with extrusion, heat shrink, or polymer processing is a plus.
  • Physically fit, hardworking, and able to adapt to working in cleanroom attire, shift work, and under a microscope.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and responsibility.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with a cooperative attitude.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new processes.
  • Able to identify problems and propose reasonable solutions.

Working Conditions

  • Work is conducted in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment with constant temperature and humidity control.
  • The role requires standing, bending, and manual handling for extended periods, as well as occasional lifting of materials.
  • This is a full-time position, with occasional overtime based on production demand.
  • Compliance with all safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements is mandatory.
