Production Operator

About the role

Join IFS Industries as a Production Operator in Reading, PA. We are seeking a skilled individual to operate machinery and perform various production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment
• Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications
• Load and unload materials from storage areas and transport to production lines
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of related experience in manufacturing or production
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial machinery and equipment
• Knowledge of quality control procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Proficient in using computer systems and software
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
