About the role
The Production Operator is responsible for operating machinery and equipment to manufacture parts according to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate various machines and equipment to produce metal components.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Perform quality checks on produced parts.
- Participate in regular training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related manufacturing experience.
- Basic understanding of metalworking processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using basic manufacturing tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Experience with quality control systems and methods.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team player with ability to work independently.
