About the role

The Production Operator is responsible for operating machinery and equipment to manufacture parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various machines and equipment to produce metal components.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality standards.
  • Perform quality checks on produced parts.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related manufacturing experience.
  • Basic understanding of metalworking processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in using basic manufacturing tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
  • Experience with quality control systems and methods.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Skills

  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team player with ability to work independently.
