Production Operator

Essential Responsibilities

• Follow all company, state and federal safety policies
• Unload and load trucks and rail cars
• Understand product labels and names
• Maintain equipment in good condition and report any defects to maintenance
• Complete proper documentation
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness
• Attend all company training, when required
• Ensure proper labeling is affixed to finished product
• Comply with all company policies, including worksite safety and food safety
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices outlined by the company
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of SDS
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test
• Ability to understand Food Safety & Quality Policies and Procedures

Licenses or Certificates

• Forklift certification

Physical Demands

• Proper PPE at all times
• Climbing on and off forklift
• Handling packaged products
