About the role
Seeking a versatile Production Operator to support laser cutting, rubber cutting, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role involves operating and maintaining production equipment, performing quality inspections, managing inventory, receiving and shipping materials, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production equipment, including fiber laser cutting systems, CNC machinery, or flatbed cutters
- Perform quality inspections on produced components
- Manage inventory, including receiving, shipping, and organization of materials
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Use nesting and cutting optimization software
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment
Requirements
- Experience operating fiber laser cutting systems, CNC machinery, or flatbed cutters
- Warehouse experience including inventory management, receiving, and shipping
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with nesting and cutting optimization software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Adaptable and willing to cross-train on multiple machines and production functions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA standards
