Production Operator - 1st Shift

About the role
The Assembly Producer will operate a press or assemble parts to form complete units or subassemblies at a press, filling machine, or conveyor line. This position is responsible for accurately and thoroughly completing and maintaining all daily paperwork associated with the assembly process.
Responsibilities
- Read gauges and record findings
- Measure sizes of parts in millimeters
- Use a computer, especially SAP, OEE, and label programs
- Maintain attention to detail and a high quality orientation
- Move product, material, and/or equipment to and from designated areas
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with 5S standards
- Safely and efficiently operate all machinery
- Perform work in an environmentally conscious manner and reduce waste
- Work all designated shifts
- Maintain an excellent attendance record
- Work in a team environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to read gauges and record findings
- Ability to measure parts in millimeters
- Proficiency with computers, including SAP, OEE, and label programs
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
