Job Responsibilities

This is a 1st shift position with OT as scheduled. Starting wage is $18.58/hour Please attend our open interview session on Tuesdays, 9:30 am-10:30 am in our Front Lobby. Magna Seating Columbus offers excellent benefits!

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods working on feet performing repetitive actions that require frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching and/or lifting from the floor, waist, overhead, chest, and/or knee level; may also be required to squat, kneel, push, pull, carry, grasp with hands and fingers; use of hand tools
  • Visual acuity is necessary to read instructions, manipulate parts, tools, machines and other objects.
  • Hearing acuity to understand verbal instructions, respond to emergency signals.
  • Prolonged exposure to moderate to high levels of noise, laser beams, flashing or blinking lights, machine signals and other sounds associated with a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of safety glasses and safety footwear is required.

Job Responsibilities

Operate various machines involved in the assembly of parts by inspecting and inserting pieces, activating machines, unloading and inspecting assembled parts.

Assemble components and parts in accordance with standardized work.

Report any damage or quality issues resulting from damage.

Apply operator instruction sheets, quality specifications, safety standards for sub-assembly and assembly of parts and components and inspection of parts as required.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and be at least 18 years old.
