Production Operator - 1st Shift

About the role

As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will perform front-line production processes that add value and quality to raw materials, transforming them into final high-quality products. Responsibilities include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety processes and ensure safe practices for self and others
• Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt to changes quickly
• Multitask and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment
• Follow all quality standards and standard operating procedures during production
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Collaborate with and follow instructions from Leads and Management to accomplish daily work assignments
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• 1 year or more of work experience in any industry
• Basic computer and math skills
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; always respectful

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods, including areas where dust and chemicals may be present

Pay

$24.25 per hour

Schedule

1st Shift; 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Weekends, Overtime, and Holidays as needed
