Production Material Handler - Urgent Need (Entry Level)

Location: El Paso, TX | Duration: 12 months | Hours: 40/week | Pay: $16–20/hr

Client: Medical Device Company | Employment Type: Contract (W2) – US Citizens or Green Card holders only

Responsibilities

• Bring kitted material to machines for the next job.
• Verify part numbers and quantities against packing list.
• Deliver material to the machine area as requested.
• Ensure the correct lot is delivered to each machine, paying extra attention to job numbers.
• Work overtime as required.
• Assist in other areas and responsibilities as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision on routine tasks.
• Support team goals and objectives in a collaborative setting.
• Make effective decisions regarding production requirements.
• Follow GMP procedures and perform area safety inspections to identify and report hazards.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and respond to safety incidents (spills, accidents, near misses).
• Comply with all state, federal, and company regulations, including FDA, ISO, and OSHA standards.
• Assume responsibility for environmental impacts of work performed and report environmental issues.
• Follow the site Environmental Management System for job-related duties.
• Complete all assigned regulatory training (e.g., GMP, ISO 14001, OSHA).
• Be available for additional projects or assignments as requested by management.
• Identify opportunities to simplify or improve services, systems, and processes.

Requirements

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to safely operate a pallet jack (electric pallet jack experience is a plus).
• High attention to detail in operations.
• High School Diploma/GED or 4 months of material handler experience.
