Production Supervisor

Purpose

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading and motivating the production team to exceed goals and monitoring the day-to-day production activities to ensure that production efficiency goals are being met, safety protocols are being followed, and quality product is being produced.

Responsibilities

• Address mechanical, operation, and technical downtime issues within department
• Train, motivate and mentor employees
• Supervise employees in the day-to-day operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity
• Maintain and improve production throughput
• Work with the Production Manager to maintain direct labor costs
• Maintain and improve production throughput
• Ensure company policies, quality procedures, and good manufacturing policies are implemented, understood, and followed

Qualifications

• A four-year degree is preferred, or equivalent and applicable work-related experience
• Experience in Blown Film Industry
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role with a strong background in blown film and Production floor supervision
• Ability to work any shift as needed
