Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, coaching, and development for Supervisor team members
• Plans and establishes work schedules and assignments to meet production goals
• Hires, trains, and evaluates production personnel
• Prepares and maintains production reports and personnel records
• Monitors production tracking and quality control systems
• Reviews operations and confers with administrative staff to resolve procedural problems
• Ensures adherence to company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Monitors production processes to ensure adherence to food safety standards and GMPs
• Verifies sanitation and hygiene protocols are followed by all production personnel
• Reports and escalates food safety concerns or deviations promptly to Plant Manager and Quality Assurance
• Supports food safety audits and assists in implementing corrective actions
• Trains and coaches team members on food safety procedures and regulatory compliance
• Regular attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items, and equipment at the facility

Requirements

• 5-10 years manufacturing experience in the food industry
• High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
• Basic PC skills, proficient in word processing and spreadsheets
• English/Spanish bilingual a plus

Work Environment

• Food manufacturing plant environment, which may be wet or dry
• Temperatures may range from 25°F to 110°F
• Physical demands include lifting, kneeling, and bending with packages in excess of 50 lbs
• Travel up to 10% of the time
• Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling

This position is exempt and eligible for a bonus based on company goals/performance.
