About the role
We are looking for a Production Line Operator to join our growing team. This position reports to the Autoline Supervisor and is responsible for general clean-up duties within Autoline production. The ideal candidate will perform tasks safely and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude with coworkers and customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform general clean-up duties within the autoline production area, including sweeping mulch & soil debris around production lines and within the production building
- Safely and efficiently transport (via wheelbarrow or portable hopper) swept debris to proper trash receptable along with any production supply trash (bags, strapping, other related debris)
- Assist in repair of broken pallets (hammer & nail to make repairs)
- Report all accidents and injuries, regardless of severity
- Follow all standard operating procedures and processes related to general clean-up duties within the autoline production area
- Safety gear is required and expected to be worn at all times (safety toe shoes/boots, vest, hard hat, & gloves)
- Assume other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by management
Qualifications
- Ability to work +/- 60 hours per week to include Saturdays with overtime (hours not guaranteed)
- Forklift/Spyder experience is preferred
- Bilingual a plus
- Must pass a drug screen
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 70lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk for short periods
- Must be able to bend and stoop throughout the workday (lifting mulch/soil bags, trash debris, etc)
- Must be able to climb and descend stairs and ladders
- Must be able to work outside for periods of time in all weather
- Must be able to work in a dusty environment (tolerate various types of work dust)
