Production Lead - Stockroom
About the role
The Production Lead – Stockroom is responsible for coordinating the work in the stockroom including ensuring the daily accuracy and productivity of stockroom tasks. This position requires adherence to safety protocols, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage stockroom operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to avoid stockouts.
- Train new employees on stockroom procedures and safety protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or stockroom setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic understanding of inventory management software.
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
