Production Lead - BM

About the role

The role involves leading a team of blow mold and packaging operators, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, maintaining quality standards, and performing various operational tasks including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Leads the blow mold and packaging team and serves as the first point of contact for operators.
• Ensures operations comply with safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Maintains and controls the blow mold process, evaluating and improving operator skills, and assisting in training.
• Troubleshoots and adjusts machines to correct improper functions, assists with new machine setups, and reviews process data.
• Completes downtime reports and error logs, communicates issues to supervisors and managers, and provides coverage for operator breaks.
• Maintains a clean work environment and performs preventive maintenance on machines.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, and related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent computer skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential. Must be adaptable and able to work all shifts and overtime as needed.
