Production Lead, 1st Shift Solar Edge

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cook up with the Manufacturing Supervisor and orchestrate line workload and staffing contingent on product priority.
• Make sure the work adheres to or surpasses Jabil's workmanship standards and keep a close eye on the CIQ system to rectify recurring and acknowledged issues promptly.
• Reduce changeover times by organizing and planning changeovers effectively.
• Keep the floor free of excess materials; guarantee adequate stock and availability of operation supplies and equipment.
• Confirm that only legitimate, updated, and approved documentation is present on the line.
• Inform or instruct employees about any discrepancies or modifications.
• Inform the Manufacturing Supervisor immediately concerning all employee-related issues, concerns, and suggestions.
• Strive for constant enhancement in all areas of responsibility.
• Ensure line personnel are adequately trained, certified, and executing their designated tasks.
• Incentivize and motivate all line members to reach their maximum potential through direct and prompt formal and informal feedback.
• Monitor production and make certain all deadlines and schedules are met.
• Review all pertinent policies and procedures issued to the line and ensure that suitable employees comprehend, understand, and comply with them.
• Comply and adhere to all safety rules and utilize and ensure that workers use the necessary protective gear.
• Maintain an orderly and clean assigned area.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations connected with this position and as directed by the supervisor.
• Comply and follow all procedures within the company's security policy.

Minimum Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with two to six years of experience in a relevant Jabil production position; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing is highly preferred.
