Solar Production Leadman
Advanced Green Technologies (AGT) is seeking an experienced Solar Foreman to lead and support commercial solar installation projects. This hands-on field leadership role oversees crew performance, ensures job site safety, maintains quality standards, and delivers projects on time with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. The Solar Leadman will manage and lead crews of up to 10 team members when the foreman is not onsite, providing technical expertise, coordinating daily operations, and driving productivity across all assigned projects.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a clean work area for installation of equipment.
- Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
- Install controls and distribution gear, such as switches, panel boards, disconnects, and inverters.
- Analyze proper fastening systems for equipment support.
- Terminate wiring and equipment as per code or job specification.
- Connect power cables to equipment such as disconnects, panel boards, inverters, motors, and transformers per manufacturer specs and permitted drawings.
- Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follow diagrams/blueprints, ensuring concealed wiring is installed before completion of walls, ceilings, and flooring.
- Test continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments such as amp probes, clamp meters, and voltage meters.
- Observe functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
- Install all solar-related components (AC and DC electric) per plan.
- Install solar modules and racking per plans.
- Manage teams when the foreman is not onsite.

- Satisfy work schedule requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years in a Foreman position.
- 10+ years of electrical experience.
- 2 years minimum experience with solar installation (preferred).
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Successful pre-employment drug screening.
- Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall.
- Ability to lift 100 lbs or more.
- Successful background check.
- NAPCEP certification (preferred).
- Statewide travel is required.
- Proficient in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Adaptable to new technologies and web-based software systems.
