Production Laborer - Fiber

Duties And Responsibilities

• Prioritize and maintain safe working practices and a safe working environment.
• Follow GMP and SOP policies.
• Cleaning facilities, equipment, and machinery.
• Maintain work areas, isles, and grounds in a clean and tidy manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery as needed.
• Safely operate various types of lift equipment and other equipment as certified.
• Loading and unloading materials.
• Monitor processing equipment and lines for efficient operation.
• Package materials.
• Works closely with operators, technicians and supervisors.
• Accepts and performs tasks assigned within specified timelines while gaining physical and technical skill sets.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new jobs and cross train on positions in the oilseeds and or fiber facilities.

• Must have the ability to climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel and stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, work with heights, dusty environment, and hot and cold temperatures.

Education And Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent, additional education or training a plus.
• Prior experience Operating heavy equipment and forklifts a plus.
• Basic understanding of computers and math comprehension.
• Prior manufacturing (grain or food processing) or agriculture experience a plus.
