Production Group Lead

Purpose Statement

The Production Group Lead is responsible for overseeing production operations within the designated department, ensuring efficient and high-quality product output while adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

• Oversee daily production schedules and ensure adherence to production timelines and quality standards.
• Manage team performance, providing guidance and feedback to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to support production needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management or a related field.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
