Production - Finishing

Major Job Responsibilities

• Sort clean and/or soiled linen for processing
• Feed clean linen through moving belt folding machines
• Hand folds small pieces of terry
• Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards
• Flat worker ironer, feeder, folder, shaker, stacker, and wrapper
• Tie out – ties bundles of clean dried linen and terry
• Sort through linen products, depositing into respective containers
• Preventing accidents by working safely is the highest priority
• Tracking production
• Maintains a clean and safe work area
• Notifies Shift Manager of any mechanical or material issues
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications And Minimum Requirements

• Able to respond to basic verbal commands
• Effectively follow directions
• Organized
• Multi-lingual is a plus
• Computer / Technical Skills / Job Specific Skills: Laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus
• Detail oriented

Physical/Mental Requirements

• Able to stand for a minimum of 8/10 hours per shift
• Able to push, pull and/or lift up to 50 lbs
• May be at an industrial setting with heat/cold and distracting noise levels
• May be required to bend, reach and/or lift up to 25 lbs
