Production Finishing Assistant

About the role

Lakeside Book Company is looking for a Production Finishing Assistant to help move finished products out the door and into the hands of readers. No prior experience is required—full training will be provided. Advancement opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare end-of-line paperwork and perform data entry of counts and other information
• Ensure accuracy of various records, reports, and paperwork
• Work in a team environment and cross-train with others
• Receive training to help advance your career
• Act as a leader for a binding line crew

Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates willing to participate in cross-training and achieve qualified status within the position, including serving as a back-up for lateral and progressive roles as needed.

Pay

Starting rate: $19.15 per hour

Schedule

12-hour day shift, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Tuesday and Friday–Sunday; Wednesday–Thursday schedule
