Production & Finishing Technician

About the role

Cardinal Staffing currently hiring for multiple roles for a publication facility in Lebanon Junction, KY! Current roles include Production and Finishing Technicians. The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail and work well in a fast-paced environment!

Schedules

• 1st (7AM to 3PM)
• 2nd (3PM to 11PM)
• 3rd (11PM to 7AM)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Load stock in pocket feeder during set up
• Orders out jobs and confirms set up with Assistant Operator
• Removes/adds loaders or tables
• Affixes end boards
• Maintains and sorts end boards
• Move up stock and back up skids
• Assists on the belt when trimmer goes down
• Affixes end boards
• Assists on the end of the binder
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• The ability to read and write English
• The ability to communicate effectively both orally and verbally
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Able to interpret and utilize various units of measure and their conversions
• Must be dependable, reliable and responsible in fulfilling obligations
• Must work well with others
• Must be flexible and open to change when needed
• Able to follow instructions and make decisions
• Able to work to 12 hour shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic small packaging knowledge
