About the Role
Centric Brands is looking for a dynamic, creative, and resourceful Production Coordinator to join its team. This individual must be a self-starter and team player who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited about accelerating transformation across Centric Brands. The Production Coordinator works closely with the Production Manager to drive the on-time delivery of quality, profitable goods.
Responsibilities
- Strategy & Innovation: Evaluate and manage vendor performance based on purchase order history, including on-time delivery, lead time, quality acceptance rates, fulfillment, and margins. Streamline the factory base for maximum product execution and company deliverables.
- Operations & Results:
- Obtain pricing for owned categories to ensure profitability and meet margin goals.
- Place final buys on time and assist in writing purchase orders when necessary.
- Track factory work-in-progress (WIP) and production from handoff to final deliveries, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.
- Manage production delivery with Logistics and Operations, troubleshooting potential disruptions and updating systems in real time.
- Handle non-compliance, claims, and chargebacks with vendors, and coordinate customs classification with Imports.
- Troubleshoot quality issues with factories, vendors, and internal teams.
- Customers & Relationships:
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Merchandising, Operations) and external vendors/factories to ensure on-time flow of goods relative to orders and demand.
- Coordinate communication and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders regarding production.
- Leadership & Teams:
- Contribute positively to team dynamics and manage up and across where necessary.
- Attract, develop, and retain talent, monitoring and coaching staff for bench strength and succession planning.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in product development and/or production.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and global partners/vendor networks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); SAP and PLM systems a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high accuracy.
- Demonstrated understanding of product development and production processes, with a strong sense of merchandising and customer needs.
- Ability to think both strategically and operationally, balancing big-picture goals with executional detail.
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes.

Pay
Salary Range: $65,000–$70,000. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate, and offers are tailored based on experience, industry knowledge, location, skills, and other relevant factors. Base salary is part of a total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, annual bonus, and other sponsored benefit programs.
