Production Coordinator Trainee

About the role

Micro Matic is seeking an internal candidate to fill our newly created Production Coordinator Trainee position. If selected, you will complete a 3-month training program to learn the role of Production Coordinator. Both internal employees and temps nearing the completion of their service hours are encouraged to apply. We are looking for someone with a good blend of mechanical, people, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations
• Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables
• Observes control points and equipment
• Monitors, provides/obtains feedback on personnel and resources
• Studies methods; implements cost reductions; supports reporting procedures and systems
• Facilitates corrections to malfunctions within process control points
• Supports production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel
• Supports work results, priorities, and monitors progress
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources
• Maintains quality service by establishing and upholding organization standards
• Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Supplies employees with safety equipment, tools, and needs for their department
