Production Coordinator
About the role
We're looking for a Production Coordinator to support official brand social media channels across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for supporting production efforts on hundreds of content projects from conception through execution and evaluation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and has a demonstrated ability to work with global teams to create daily social content for international audiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist the team with all elements of production, including help managing daily pre-production, production, and post-production deadlines
- Assist producers with service agreements, purchase orders, licensing, and releases for projects
- Help the Production Manager track project estimates and expenses
- Support the Production Manager in editorial calendaring, planning, and maintaining data accuracy
- Review budgets and production schedules, updating as needed while providing recommendations and rationale for changes
- Update team resources and documentation
- Coordinate content workflows with freelance partners
- Support transcription and translation services for projects
- Assist with equipment and media shipping logistics
- Track equipment inventory and rentals
- Manage media organization and archiving
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of final deliverables
- Publish content across social media platforms
- Support media and community operations workflows
Requirements
- 4+ years of production experience
- Experience coordinating production for editorial video content intended for social media
- Experience managing productions across multiple formats, including documentaries, short-form content, narrative projects, and branded content
- Familiarity with licensing requirements and collaborating with legal teams on contracts and agreements
- Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience leading small to large-scale projects with cross-functional teams
- Experience managing external creative and production partners
- Ability to build strong working relationships across teams and functions
- Ability to thrive in a self-directed, fast-paced, and evolving environment
- Ability to communicate and uphold editorial standards
- Ability to produce high-quality content with limited resources
- Familiarity with social media platforms, creative tools, publishing platforms, and project management software
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.46/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Schedule
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY, and is a fully onsite position.
