Production Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for all floor-level requests, questions, and concerns.
- Capture needs properly, route them to the appropriate person or team, and ensure they are resolved.
- Enable personnel to focus on their work without the need to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Log problems and opportunities in the input system for tracking and resolution.
- Prevent and resolve issues using the Situation Handling Guide.
- Direct personnel to the appropriate team for issues outside their scope.
- Identify high-risk situations and escalate to leadership following the Basic Escalation Guide.
- Ensure the department stays on schedule by aligning jobs with the right machines at the right time.
- Assign resources so personnel are in the right place, working on the right tasks.
- Scan jobs and reconcile locations to maintain area accuracy.
- Ensure documentation is complete and up to date.
Essential Skills
- Experience in production scheduling and planning.
- ERP knowledge.
- Ability to lead teams of 10+ people.
- Assertiveness in problem-solving.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience managing production employees.
- Aerospace experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Familiarity with monday.com.
Work Environment
This role is onsite in a warehouse/production environment from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You will have a laptop and a standing desk to move around the production floor.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, CA.
Pay And Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $38.50/hr.
