About the role
The Production Coordinator role is based in Three Rivers, Michigan and is a full-time, second-shift position.
Responsibilities
- Works with quality control, production control, manufacturing engineering, and maintenance departments to maintain schedules and affect changes and revisions.
- Affirms maximum use of capacity and requirements.
- Analyzes the quality and quantity of production and institutes corrective actions to eliminate deficiencies.
- Maintains manufacturing operations by following and enforcing standards and procedures and good manufacturing practices.
- Sets production and support resource priorities.
- Maintains manufacturing equipment and processes by coordinating preventive maintenance actions; scheduling repairs; facilitating team discussions to identify equipment and process problems; identifying solutions.
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy manufacturing environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations.
- Contributes to manufacturing and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Availability and willingness to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as requested.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has experience working in a union environment.
