Production Controller

About the role

IEM is seeking a Production Controller for our Fremont, CA team. The Production Controller will assist the Production Department with production constraints, coordinate production activities, and mitigate risks to ensure timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities

• Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and communicate potential schedule changes as needed
• Track and report production status as needed
• Identify potential bottlenecks and implement solutions to meet delivery deadlines
• Orchestrate communication with engineering, procurement, quality, maintenance, and other departments
• Generate and maintain weekly production reports
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Adhere to established safety guidelines
• Follow scheduling policies, processes, and procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Teams, Outlook)
• Understanding of how an ERP system flows
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with organizing discussions across all levels of the organization
• Organizational skills, including coordinating tasks, schedules, and resources
• Interpersonal skills such as building rapport with team members, stakeholders, and other departments
• Demonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility

• Must be able to work 100% in-office in Fremont, CA
• No remote work is available for this position

Pay

The actual compensation for this role will be determined based on internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The range is USD $28.00 - $37.50 per hour.

Schedule

The Production Controller must be available for 100% in-office work in Fremont, CA.
