Production Controller

About the Role

We are seeking a senior-level Production Controller to drive visibility, accountability, and continuous improvement in production cost performance within a fast-growing manufacturing environment. This role leads efforts to identify and reduce production waste, with a strong focus on material efficiency and labor performance.

What You’ll Do

• Drive Production Performance
• Identify, measure, and reduce material waste, scrap, and inefficiencies
• Improve labor utilization, runtime performance, and overall production efficiency
• Partner closely with Operations to analyze performance trends and implement practical improvements
• Establish clear metrics that drive accountability and continuous improvement
• Operations Leadership Collaboration
• Serve as a key part of operations leadership, driving visibility, accountability, and continuous improvement in production performance
• Work directly with production leaders and shop floor teams to understand processes and performance drivers
• Stay closely connected to day-to-day operations to ensure system data reflects real-world execution
• Support a positive, solutions-oriented environment focused on improvement—not blame
• Own Work Order Cost Integrity
• Serve as the financial checkpoint in the work order close process
• Review work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to closure
• Validate labor, routing, and production data within NetSuite
• Ensure ERP data reflects actual material and labor costs
• Execute final work order close and ensure clean WIP clearance
• Analyze & Improve
• Analyze trends in material usage, labor efficiency, and production performance
• Identify recurring issues and partner with Operations to implement sustainable solutions
• Strengthen processes and reporting to support a rapidly scaling business

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years in manufacturing operations, operations finance, or production analytics
• Strong experience working directly with production or plant leadership
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and performance drivers
• ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred
• Experience with routings and work centers
