ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble, mark, kit, and package specified components utilizing appropriate methods, tools, and fixtures.
- Monitor process for defects, isolate non-conforming material, and notify supervisor of "out of specification" conditions.
- Assist with on-the-job training of new associates or contract laborers.
- Maintain lot and batch integrity throughout the assembly process.
- Generate appropriate labels for product identification.
- Audit (cycle counting) to monitor inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Participate in company-sponsored training and process improvement activities.
- Comply with ICC Policies and the ICC Quality Management System.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent sitting and standing.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Close visual acuity to perform activities such as inspecting manufactured parts, preparing/analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
- Distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to distinguish colors and color variations of physical parts and components, and in documentation such as work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Exposure to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
